The Supreme Court today resumed the hearing of the 2020 election petition as Dr Michael Kpessa-Whyte, the second witness for the petitioner testified.
The court admitted the testimony of the former National Service Secretariat boss and permitted his cross-examination by the lawyers of the Electoral Commission and President Nana Akufo-Addo.
John Mahama is at the apex court asking for a re-run of the polls that saw the NPP's Nana Akufo-Addo declared President.
His first witness, the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia was yesterday discharged from the witness box following his cross-examination by counsel for the 1st and 2nd Respondents.
The hearing started at 9.30 am.
