Rapper Kwaw Kese says the way the police handled the murder of his former manager Fennec Okyere was pathetic.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, he revealed that the police have closed the case after long years of investigating the murder of the former head of MadTime entertainment.
"The last time we heard a briefing from the police they told us that the case was closed. This was 2 years ago. We are in a country were MP’s snatch ballot sheets so how do you expect the laws to work?" he quizzed.
According to him, he sees that the law does not work in the country.
Kwaw also bemoaned the lack of interest shown by family and other acquaintances of Fennec.
He explained that they did not push hard enough for justice to be served following his death.
"It’s pathetic because aside Fennec working for me, he was working for other people and he had family. All these people did not show any interest. If we have to pursue the case then all these people have to come together."
Fennec Okyere, was found dead at his Manet Gardens residence, in March 2014.
He was brutally killed by unknown assailants, who broke into his house in Accra on March 13, 2014.
The motivation for the murder is still unknown.
