Musician-turned-politician, A Plus is urging flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama to accept the results of the 2020 general elections.
In a Facebook post, A Plus stated that the former president can move on and use this opportunity to take a “retrospective break”.
“Those who care about you and your political future are those who will advise you to accept the results irrespective of what may have happened, call Nana Akufo-Addo and congratulate him,” he wrote.
Former President John Dramani Mahama and his party are still contesting the 2020 election results.
Addressing the press after the Electoral Commission (EC) announced the winner of the election, Mr Mahama said his team had noticed some irregularities in the collation of the ballots.
“I stand before you tonight unwilling to accept the fictionalized results of a flawed election,” Mr. Maham added.
Dear JDM, Those who care about you and your political future are those who will advise you to accept the results...

However, A Plus believes it is in the best interest for John Mahama to let the country move on.
"Those who give you such advice are the people you need around you right now; they are the ones you should be listening to at this moment. Move on; let Ghana 🇬🇭 move on. It may help you in the near future," he added.
