The Electoral Commission (EC) has debunked reports that its Chairperson has travelled out of the country after declaring the 2020 presidential election results.
According to the Commission, "Jean Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, as well as all the Commissioners are at post discharging their legally mandated duties."
This response follows reports that Mrs Mensa and her deputies had travelled out of the country to avoid being attacked by some people who are unhappy with the results of the December 7, polls.
But the Commission said there is no iota of truth in the matter as the EC boss is still at post.
It is, therefore, urging the public to disregard what it describes as "fake news."
