The Ghana Police Service has arrested one Daniel Tibiri Boahen, a civilian sighted driving a Police Nissan pickup vehicle in Sunyani.
The vehicle which as since been impounded by the Police was auctioned earlier this year by appointed auctioneers as unserviceable.
After successfully going through the due processes at the auction, it was given to one Abu James, at Bongo in the Upper East region.
However, on December 6, following investigations, the Police sighted the Police Nissan pickup vehicle with registration number GP 3329 in Sunyani, being driven by a civilian by name Daniel Tabiri Boahen.
The suspect was subsequently handed over to the Police by the youth of Sunyani.
