The Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency has expressed confidence of winning the constituency seat by 60% of the votes in the December 7 polls.
Lydia Seyram Alhassan, believes that the various developmental projects and interventions by the NPP in the constituency will pave way for the party’s victory.
“I tell you, my constituents in Ayawaso, are rewarding us. They told me that this 7th December, it’s an appreciative vote. They are retaining us, they are renewing our mandate, and I am confident they will do just that.”
“We are winning with over 60% votes, I am confident, we are winning.”
Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan who has been on the seat for just two years stressed that the assurance from the people is sufficient to see the New Patriotic Party led by President Akufo-Addo win victory on December 7.
“They are renewing my mandate and that of His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Our chances are very high,” she said.
“I am telling you that they know the good things, the roads that are being rehabilitated in the Ayawaso West is second to none.”
“The hospital that has been built less than two years, and the over 2000 women that have been empowered to get on their feet through the women empowerment program.”
She further stated that the youth in the constituency have been supported to start entrepreneurship program, “in fact tomorrow we are issuing out over 300 drivers' license.”
Sharing her views about the electoral process so far, Lydia Alhassan who is seeking another term after replacing her deceased husband via a bye-election in 2018 said the process has been smooth so far without any hindrance.
