Legon Cities have announced the appointment of Bashir Hayford as the new head coach of the club on a one-year deal.
The news comes less than 24 hours after the Royals confirmed the sacking of Goran Barjaktarevic who was in charge of the club for just 11 months.
Hayford will be tasked with restoring balance in a Legon Cities side yet to pick a win this season after two games.
He comes into the job with a highly decorated CV having managed the likes of Asante Kotoko, Medeama, AshGold, the Black Starlets and the Black Queens.
Hayford's last involvement in the Ghana Premier League was with Ebusua Dwarfs in 2017.
He is expected to lead the team when they face Medeama at the Accra Sports stadium on Friday, November 27.
