The Black Stars are expected in Accra on Sunday afternoon after improving their fortunes in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers with a 0-2 win over Sudan in Omdurman on Saturday.
Ghana ended the first half of the qualifiers with a 100% winning record and are yet to concede a goal.
Some fans have planned to give them a warm welcome at the Kotoka International Airport after maintaining a clean sheet in the qualifiers.
The Black Stars next qualifier is at home against Sudan on 5 September.
