Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew wants to join Liverpool, reports TuttoMercatoWeb.
Ayew, 25, was one of the superstars at the recent Africa Cup of Nations, with the winger scoring three goals in the tournament.
The Daily Express report the Ghana international is a free transfer at the end of the season and has been offered deals by not only Liverpool but by Newcastle and Everton too.
Reports claim that Marseille want Ayew to stay, with the Ligue 1 club offering him a new deal, but the French outfit want him to take a considerable wage cut.
The report from Italy claims that the winger who played at the 2014 Brazil World Cup, wants to move to Liverpool and is willing to accept the offer from the Reds.
So far this season, Ayew has played 16 times for Marseille scoring four times. Furthermore, the playmaker has created 14 chances – the eighth highest at Marseille this term.
Earlier in the week, the Daily Express claimed that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wanted to sign Ayew last summer, but opted to swoop for Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic instead.
