Pharrell Williams is adding another string to his bow, by turning into a skincare mogul.
The artist has just announced that he’s birthed yet another project, with the aid of dermatologist to the stars Elena Jones.
He posted on Instagram a photo of himself holding the brand new three-piece skincare range with the caption “Proud dad moment.”
This is actually not off-brand for Pharrell as he has been known for his Benjamin Button ageing traits, and youthful look for the past few decades, so he might just have the answers we have all been looking for.
The skincare range, named Humanrace, will launch with three products - a Rice Powder cleanser, an Lotus Enzyme exfoliant, and a Humidifying Cream moisturiser and is due to hit the market November 25 on humanrace.com.
He might be the only male celebrity we have seen jumping into the skincare space, but no surprises there, as the people have been begging to understand how he’s managed to not age past 2006.
The 47-year-old Happy singer revealed on @humanrace Instagram that his line was designed to be inclusive and designed with everyone in mind.
“Humanrace Skincare doesn’t differentiate by race or gender. We’re creating for humans; we are all born in the same skin," he said.
Each product is packaged in exchangeable refill chambers with braille writing embossed.
The brand also seems to have sustainability at the forefront along with its inclusivity messaging.
They share that 50% of the plastic used in the packaging comes from post-consumer recycled plastic.
People have been asking Pharrell for his skincare routine for near enough a decade, so it’s really a no-brainer and we as the human race cannot wait to get in on the secret. We predict a sell out. So stay tuned.
