Chief Executive Officer of Dansworld International Services Limited (DISL), an Environmental Management Services company, has averred that the Coronavirus pandemic must be dealt with relentlessly.
On the back of the recent spike in Covid-19 active cases in the country, Bernard Danso Ntow explained the need to keep our guards up regarding the spread of the virus.
He made this call at the premises of his office during an interaction with some businesses who had contracted his fumigation and disinfection services at the peak of the pandemic in the country.
“Covid-19 must be tackled seriously without relenting. This is because there are examples in other countries like the western countries and others, who have experienced the 2nd wave of this deadly pandemic and continue to lose precious human life,” he stated.
The CEO added that he was concerned with the sharp decline of awareness and the public’s indifference to the safety protocols instituted against the spread of the virus.
Dansworld Company Limited was tasked by Government with the 1st and 2nd phases of the Volta Region’s disinfection, fumigation and cleaning of markets, lorry parks and public places.
The company has also undertaken various fumigation exercises at locations such as the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) Company Limited, Nsawam Prisons, schools, churches etc.
Mr. Ntow speaking to the media indicated that he has appointed himself a local ambassador against the transmission of the virus and is therefore doing all he can to raise awareness.
“I am now a local ambassador against the transmission of Covid-19. The level of apathy that is been demonstrated by our Ghanaian people is disheartening. It is as if, now if you wear the face mask you are not enlightened and this must stop. Covid-19 isn’t ending anytime soon, hence we must all do our best to stay safe”.
Dansworld International Services Limited (DISL) is an environmental management company specializing in Facility management services, fumigation, cleaning etc.
