The Ecobank-JoyNews’ Habitat Fair which climaxed on Sunday has left an unimaginable impression on its participants as swarming patrons call for an extension.
The event which was themed, “Affordable Housing; Beyond Rhetoric” saw people from nationwide participate as they learn about the pros and cons of real estate in the country.
The Managing Director of Adansi Travel and Tour, George Asare, a patron at the Habitat Fair said he is very impressed about the Fair adding that he has made a purchase of a five-year warranty security padlock.
“From Monday to Friday I have been forgetting to buy a padlock and when I came here, I saw a very good one of five-year warranty so if you need anything for the house, when you come here you would see something of quality," he stated.
In an interview with other patrons at the JoyNews’ Habitat Fair, they expressed their excitements over the programme.
“This fair is very important for Ghanaians because sometimes when you’re putting up a building and you want to get materials, you find it difficult to get the right ones but coming to the Habitat Fair gives you an idea who to contact and where to get the right materials for the project," one patron said.
He added that, he has been in contact with one of the exhibitors and so far he is satisfied knowing where to get his housing needs and whom to contact when going forward with his building project.
Another patron of the Habitat Fair disclosed that he has been hearing about the Fair though it’s his first time showing up at the event and he is also impressed about the outcome of the event.
“It’s a wonderful idea, this is my first time, I keep hearing about the Habitat Fair I was just telling my wife we need to come here and look at what is happening so that we can be informed on what to do with our building project…and I have been impressed by what I have found so far. I am sure it will inform me going forward on how to complete the project," he said.
