The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) is holding its first-ever garment and textiles investment meeting aimed at raising valuable Foreign Direct Investment for the industry.
The two-day virtual meeting which started on Wednesday, November 4, is under the theme: “The future of garments and textiles in Ghana’s industrialisation drive”.
The meeting creates a platform for the GIPC and key stakeholders in the garments and textiles industry, namely; the Association of Ghana Apparel Manufacturers (AGAM) and the Cotton Development Authority to discuss a plethora of issues akin to the industry.
Owing to the Ghanaian’s sense of pride and claim to local textiles and garments, the virtual program is opened to the public to enable participation. Interested persons can register on https://ecneventsghana.com/gipc-gatim2020/signup.
The meeting continues on Thurdays, November 5, 2020 from 10am.
