Rapper Sarkodie is hoping Ghanaians vote for President Akufo-Addo to stay in power for a second term.
He endorsed a reelection of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer in his new song Happy Day which features Kuami Eugene.
Sarkodie commended the NPP government for its Free SHS policy and ensuring that Dumsor has remained a thing of the past.
"If I talked complained about ‘Dumsor’ and I also hit on inflation but today if there is electricity and my kids will go to school free, then Nana ‘toaso’ (Nana continue)."
Sarkodie donned a blue shirt and white trousers matching the colours of the NPP.
The climax of the song had one of the famous slogans of the Elephant party – The Battle is still the Lords.
Sarkodie is not the only celebrity endorsing a political party ahead of the elections.
