Taraji P. Henson is set to host the 2020 American Music Awards.
"The AMAs brings together the music community to celebrate what really drives all artists -- the fans," Henson said in a statement. "I’m proud to take the stage as this year’s host -- and also a fan -- for what promises to be an electrifying night of music."
This year's event will air Sunday, November 22, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The Weeknd and Roddy Rich lead the nominees for the fan-voted awards with eight nominations, followed by Megan Thee Stallion, who received five nominations. Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Bad Bunny and DaBaby each have four nods.
BTS have been announced as performers at the 2020 AMAs.
The 2020 American Music Awards is produced by dick clark productions, which is owned by MRC Entertainment, the parent company of Billboard.
