Adele has got fans hot under the collar after teasing new music as she prepares for her Saturday Night Live hosting debut.
The 30-year-old appeared in a short video to promote the show alongside singer and songwriter H.E.R. - who will be a guest and regular cast member, actress Kate McKinnon.
Joking about her potentially singing on the show, Adele says in the clip: "Hi, I'm Adele and I'm hosting Saturday Night Live this week with musical guest H.E.R."

McKinnon then asks: "Wait, H.E.R. or her?" And H.E.R. then suggests it could be McKinnon singing, with the Ghostbusters star agreeing.
But Adele cryptically chips in: "Or maybe me."
There has already been speculation that Adele's high-profile presenting role could mean she's on the verge of releasing new music.
She last released an album, the Grammy-winning 25, five years ago.
Later in the skit, much fun is had with the Tottenham-born star's broad London accent.
McKinnon does a cockney impression, before swiftly apologising for it, after which Adele cracks out a convincing Californian drawl telling her: "Oh my God, no worries girlfriend."
All three stars wore face masks over their mouths and noses throughout the clip.
Adele announced that she would be leading the show earlier this week on Instagram, telling her 39 million followers she was "absolutely terrified".
She said it would be a significant moment for her which marked an important anniversary.

She wrote: "It'll be almost 12 years to the day that I first appeared on the show, during an election... which went on to break my career in America, so it feels full circle and I just couldn't possibly say no!"
Adele also joked that she would be a "hot mess" during H.E.R.'s performance as she was such a big fan, but said she would not take it too seriously and "laugh my a*** off in between it all".
The Rolling In The Deep singer's Instagram account has already attracted lots of attention this year after she shared a photo showing her wearing a Jamaican flag bikini top and with her hair in Bantu knots to celebrate the Notting Hill Carnival back in August.
Both fans and fellow celebrities were quick to defend her over claims of cultural appropriation.
