Rapper Edem has opened up on how his music career was highly influenced by the formal education he had as a young boy.
He attributes his success in Ghana's musical terrain to his junior high school, Amazing Love School.
In a yet-to-be aired episode of E Vibes on JoyNews, Edem chronicles his musical journey, reminiscing how the institution shaped his music career.
He recounts that a music cassette stand near the school was where he procured his first album by Obrafuor.
In addition to that, he tells JoyNews' Becky that the school “was engulfed with music-related activities"
"When you move away from that there is also the cultural part" Edem says.
The versatile artist recently released a seven-track EP titled 'Mood Swings'.
This episode of E Vibes will be aired on Saturday, October 24.
