Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene has said his aspiration is to see smiles on the faces of his fans.
The reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year opened up about his dreams, fears, and accomplishment in a chat with Becky on the all-new show E VIBES on JoyNews.
“Smiles on the faces of my people keep me going because in the end there’s a family I can always turn back to and still have fun with them,” he said.
Kuami Eugene also added that the homey feel he gets in Fadama cannot, where he grew up, be compared to any other place.
The highlife singer explained that they accept him as he is, a development that brings him comfort.
“When I come to Fadama, I know I’m home, I feel very free and I can’t get this feeling in other places than Fadama,” he told host Becky.
The E VIBES show delves into the background of the country’s celebrated personalities who are doing tremendous work in their chosen field.
It cuts across a variety of spheres ranging from music, movies to politics among others.
E Vibes airs at 8:30 am on Saturdays with a repeat on the same day at 8:30 pm. Viewers will get the chance to catch playbacks on Sundays at 10:00 am and 2:30 pm on Fridays.
