Business leader and growth strategist, Ekow Archer has shared some nuggets of wisdom for country's budding entrepreneurs.
According to him, upcoming entrepreneurs need a specific set of skills to survive in today’s highly competitive world.

“There are some factors I will hold as critical, first of all, I think you have to be very confident, being able to play in a team or work with a team is very superb, having strong communication skills, having critical thinking and have the tenacity to deal with things,” he said.
In this pursuit to provide answers to questions on whether an entrepreneur can be taught, born or made, Ekow Archer stated that the skill can be acquired.
“This is what I know, we are all born with certain unique talent but all skills can be acquired with patient, consistency, practice, and hard work.
"For my personal experience, the grind is really real and it takes tons of hard work,” he added.
According to him, education is the real key determinant for creating an entrepreneurial culture and help shape skills and talent.
“This is where I believe education comes in. I strongly believe that the development of the relevant skill and the quality of a country’s education are key determinants of future labor and management talent," he told Daniel Dadzie on JoyNews.
He believes that secondary education can serve as a lunch pad for igniting entrepreneur interest and reorienting students to begin exploring career opportunities or having a career in this area.
Becoming an entrepreneur, Mr Archer said, involves a journey of multiple stations where there is a constant learning process of new skills and ideas nevertheless, he recommended up and coming entrepreneurs to make an effort and attend workshops and network programs
He advised individuals in successful business to make an effort in mentoring or becoming role models to young and upcoming businessmen and women.
