Four students of Oti Senior High have been involved in an accident at Osubetor Community on Koforidua road in the Eastern Region.
The students along with one teacher were returning from the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) competition where they were eliminated at the one-eighth stage.
They were onboard a Nissan Versa with registration number GE 6248-19 going back to school.
According to reports, the vehicle, unfortunately, veered off the road and crashing into trees by the roadside.
Confirming the news to JoyNews’ Kofi Siaw, the headmaster of the school, John Hawkson Arthur said they were almost at Koforidua when the incident happened.
The victims, he revealed, were rushed to the Koforidua Regional hospital. He said three of the victims who sustained minor injuries have been treated and discharged.
Two others, however, are still on admission.
