The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay is cautioning the party supporters against complacency ahead of the December 7 polls.
He fears complacency can affect the party's bid to win massively in the polls.
"Don’t take things for granted. My main problem is that many of us think the December polls is a done deal. No, it's not. We have a lot of work and need to go the extra mile," he said.
Speaking at the official outdooring of the 47 parliamentary candidates in the Ashanti Region, Freddie Blay said the party's supporters must come out in their numbers to vote on December 7.
‘’The NDC is working hard to ensure that we don’t get voted for in December to continue with what we are doing," he explained.
He added that the election will not be an easy feat hence all members are expected to work hard to ensure they are not voted out.
"Apart from what we have seen here, let's go out to our various places, interact with the people, let them know what Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP has done in the last three and half years and the need for a continuation."
Mr. Freddie Blay stated that if all party supporters across the country turn out to cast their ballot in December, the NPP will win the election "one touch."
‘’We have a lot of things to talk about, we have achieved a lot within this short period in office, talk of Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, Macro-Economic Stability, 1 Village 1 Dam, 1 District 1 Factory, etc, we have a lot to tell their Ghanaian people, so let's go out a tell our story," Mr Blay added.
