At least six students of Kadjebi Asato Senior High School are in police custody for allegedly breaking into the bungalow of the assistant headmaster.
They are alleged to have made away with a flat-screen TV and other valuable items estimated to be worth over GHS 2000.
Another 37 students of the school are also being investigated by the school's authorities for allegedly cooking meals in their dormitories with fowls stolen from their teachers on campus.
The students are also said to have stolen equipment from the school's music lab.
The police confirmed having the students in their custody but will not comment on the matter.
Management of the school are also reluctant to comment on the matter. Sources say they would rather handle the incident internally and prefer not have the matter end up in court.
