Nine more Ghanaians have lost their lives to Covid-19 while 340 more have tested positive for the virus.
This pushes the country’s death toll to 248 out of a cumulative case count of 42,993 confirmed cases.
So far, 40,796 persons have recovered/discharged, according to the Ghana Health Service website.
The country currently has 1,949 active cases with 16 in a severe condition, six critical and three on ventilators.
