The general overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil has announced the commencement of in-person worship services for his church.
Speaking during an online service, Pastor Otabil said the management of the church is still putting in place measures to ensure the safe and gradual reopening of some branches.
“We will continue with our online services all the same like we used to but it will still remain an option for members who will want to choose between both, but if your church is not opened we will announce a date for resuming” he stated.
He added that his branch, the Christ Temple remains an online service but would be open to members who prefer in-person service.
He however indicated that the duration will remain an hour per service starting at 10 am.
“We want you to be safe and we know you want to worship but we don’t want dead worshipers or sick worshipers,” he advised.
The International Central Gospel Church, like some churches across the country, continues to hold online services despite the lifting of the ban on in-person worship by President Akufo-Addo.
