Lawyer Maurice Ampaw says that Highlife artiste Castro who went missing in 2014 is still alive.
According to him, Castro did not drown in the jet ski accident that occurred while was vacationing with his friends including the Gyan brothers.
Speaking on Showbiz A-Z, Mr Ampaw stated that per his investigation “Castro is not dead. Something has happened. Castro can appear at any time.”
However, he believes that Castro’s companion who was on the jet ski with him, Janet Bandu, is dead.
He told George Quaye host of the show that, “Janet Bandu is gone forever, she cannot come back”.
Mr Ampaw claimed that the police are aware of his statements and the evidence he has to prove his point.
The legal practitioner also stated that the mode of investigation used by the police to search for Castro and Janet the day they went missing was “wrong”.
He stated that they should have treated everyone on the retreat with the celebrated singer as suspects.
It has been six years since Castro and Janet went missing in Ada.
According to the law, the two will be pronounced dead if they are not found dead or alive in 2021 – the seventh year since they went missing.
