Betway Ghana, the leading online sports betting company, is warning its valued customers against free bets scam that it says has been going on.
In a statement, Betway Ghana said they had taken notice of messages circulating on social media and other online platforms in regards to them offering its customers an unlimited account balance to bet.
According to Betway Ghana, their free bets are system generated and only inform players of such free bets through their inboxes on the betting platform.
Below is the statement:
Betway Ghana wishes to draw the attention of our players to the circulation of hyperlinks and messages on social media and other media channels that are sending our players supposed ‘balance hacks’ and Free Bets.
We want to inform our players who receive such messages or are being contacted by such persons to please ignore these messages, as they do not originate from Betway and are schemes intended to extort players.
The perpetrators often reach out to individuals offering them a ‘hack’ that allows them to enjoy an unlimited account balance whilst requesting payments for this service. We have alerted the Gaming Commission and Security Agencies of such acts and we will continue to work together to protect the interest of our players.
Betway continues to reward players through Free Bets, which are system generated, and only inform players of such Free Bets through their inboxes on the betting platform.
Players who require clarification can call us on our hotline 0307033178. You can also contact us via @Betway_gh on Twitter and BetwayGH on Facebook
