Ghana is saddled with several communicable and non-communicable diseases.
The government and development partners are pumping resources to save the lives of Ghanaians.
But it appears whiles a lot of these diseases are getting the needed attention, some like leprosy which is rendering a lot of Ghanaians permanently disabled, have been relegated to the background.
Shockingly, Ghana is recording leprosy cases in every part of the country.
Seth Kwame Boateng in his latest Hotline documentary titled “Withered Skins,” tells the shocking stories of people who have had not only their fingers and toes disfigured but others too who have been amputated from leprosy related complications.
This three part documentary will be broadcast on the Super Morning Show Monday and on the JoyNews channel at 8:30pm.
