Two people have been hospitalised after a building housing about 17 people collapsed in Fante Kura a suburb of Yeji of the Bono East Region.
It is reported that the occupants were asleep when the building buckled during Saturday’s downpour.
Narrating the incident, the Assemblyman of the area, Ali Mohammed said the house went down immediately the big the thunder around 4:45 am on Saturday.
He said five of the occupants were badly injured and they were rushed to the St. Mathias Hospital.
Two of them are in critical condition while three others have been treated and discharged.
