Senior High School finalists and Gold Track Form 2 students are reporting to school following President Akufo-Addo’s easing of restrictions on educational activities.
At the Ofori Panin SHS at Tafo in Akyem, Eastern Region students started reporting around 9 am on Monday.
The school authorities mounted a check point at the entrance of the school to register and check vitals of students before they were allowed entry.
Douglas Nti Frimpong a Form Master at Ofori Panin SHS explained to JoyNews that as students arrive at the checkpoint, their temperature is checked before they are allowed to pass.
Parents are not being allowed beyond the checkpoint.
In the Ashanti Region, JoyNews correspondent, Nana Yaw Gyimah reported that students expressed satisfaction with the presentation their respective schools put in place to welcome them.
Up north, Martina Bugri reported from the Northern School of Business Senior High School in the Northern Region.
The Headmaster, Alhassan Issah Dokurugu said the school put in place the necessary measures to protect the students as they arrive to prepare for their final exam.
He said the school made its own arrangements like the provision of Veronica buckets among others.
Mr Dokurugu said they have dispatched a team to the Sagnarigu Municipal Education Office to receive the school PPEs.
