One of Ghana's emerging Highlife artiste, Nana Kyei Fosu, popularly known as Nukre has passed on.
The artiste was said to have been involved in an accident on Sunday at about 11 pm at Tesano in the Greater Accra Region.
The news was confirmed to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM Monday by one Mr Dordzie, who said he is part of the artiste’s management team.
According to him he had been with Nukre most of the day and was shocked to receive the news of his death on Monday.
According to him, the vehicle Nukre was travelling in collided with a truck at Tesano.
“Nukre was in a taxi heading towards Asofa when a truck collided into their car. The driver didn’t die, he survived but I don’t know his condition for now,” Mr Dordzie said.
The body of the artiste he said has been deposited at the police mortuary.
Nukre is survived by a wife and daughter.
