Fiancé of Nigerian artiste Davido, Chioma Rowland has dismissed rumours she has suffered domestic abuse in her relationship.
The mother of one, popularly called The Chef Chi, wrote on her Instagram handle that the singer has never raised his hands on her neither has she pushed him for that to ever happen.
Her reaction comes after some blogs had reported the two were no longer together because of some abuse happening in their home.
The rumours increased when Davido shared a photo of his injured leg with the caption "I needed to sit down in one place anyways 😂😂😂 DND."
Many people had assumed the 'If' singer's injury was a result of an altercation between him and his lover.
However, Chioma believes domestic abuse is a huge issue not to be joked with and hence publications should not be made without verification.
"Never has there ever been an incident of abuse in my home. He has never in his life lifted a finger to touch me and I have never so much as even pushed him. I believe with everything we peddle as human beings whether offline or online, we should have a bit of fear of God more so when speaking on things we know absolutely nothing of."
She stated that she felt the need to to respond to rumours for the first time because of its severity.
She added that if the rumours of abuse persist she will be forced to take legal action against people peddling the falsehood.
