The Ghana Health Service Council has commended healthcare workers across the country for exhibiting immense dedication in the quest to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to a press statement signed by the Council’s Chairman, Dr Yao Yeboah although the country’s health system is challenged, health workers have efficiently utilised the little logistics to effectively combat the pandemic in the possible way they can.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has been quite challenging and as a Council, we dully recognize the significant pressure this global menace has put on our healthcare system and the unique responsibility, stress and strain imposed on the management and all health workers.
“We want to use this medium to express our sympathy and support to all affected healthcare officers who are at the forefront," Dr Yeboah stated.
