Ayawaso West Wuogon MP Lydia Seyram Alhassan has fumigated schools, churches, and mosques within the constituency.
The exercise which began on Monday forms part of preparations toward the reopening of schools, churches and mosques.
President Akufo-Addo during his 10th address to the nation lifted the ban on educational institutions for final year students to return and study for their respective exit examinations.
The President also indicated that up to 100 worshippers can congregate in churches, mosques, and other worship centres from June 5, 2020.
This announcement forms part of what he described as a ‘phased approach’ to reopening the country in a bid to live with the virus in safety.
The MP speaking to JoyNews explained that the exercise is to create a conducive atmosphere for final year students who are expected to return to schools.
She is hopeful it will also douse the seemingly fear and anxiety among them.
Lydia Seyram Alhassan said it further ensure that all worship centres within the constituency are safe for use.
She is convinced the exercise will help in the fight against Covid-19 within the constituency.
