In a statement Monday, the center said “COA FS has not been approved as cure for Covid-19 by any institution.”

“According to the Center for Plant Medicine Research, Akuapem Mampong, the preliminary evaluation of the results indicated that COA FS was among the first batch of the 9 selected products recommended to the Ministry of Health,” they wrote.
“COA Herbal Center further dissociates itself from leaked reports suggesting that independent tests conducted on COA FS Food supplement confirm that the product is not contaminated,” the center added.
The statement also indicated that following directive from the Food and Drugs Authority, they have “ceased production, recalled our products from the market, and submitted the same to the FDA which was safely disposed off on the 22nd of May, 2020.”
COA Herbal Center disassociated itself from the said media reports, which it said suggested tests “conducted on COA FS Food supplement confirm that the product is not contaminated.”
“We would not do anything that will undermine the authority and power of the FDA,” the center pledged.
