Senior lecturer at the Department of Psychology at the University of Ghana, Dr Inusah Abdul-Nasiru has led a delegation of the Tem-Kotokoli Development Association to make a check donation of ₵10,000 into the National Covid-19 Trust Fund at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The gesture which was shown on May 14, 2020, comes as a cross-section of Ghanaians continue to support the President's initiative towards fighting the novel coronavirus.
Dr Abdul-Nasiru made the donation on behalf of the Overlord of Tem-Kotokoli of Ghana, Wuro Dauda Chedere Brenai II and all Tem-Kotokolis.
The senior lecturer who doubles as the Chairman of the Tem-Kotokoli Development Association thanked President Akufo-Addo for effectively handling the fight against the pandemic so far.
He also encouraged Ghanaians to observe the preventive protocols, minimise anxiety and avoid stigmatization as the country adopts all measures towards curbing the spread of Covid-19.
The delegation included other Tem-Kotokoli chiefs and opinion leaders such as: Adenta Municipal Zongo Chief, Wuro Adamu Salifu, Jaayoo Kotokoli Chief, Wuro Zakaria Chaa-Agodomu.
Also represented among the team were Nana Alia Isso-Nyena (Tchaa Atakora I), Wuro Mudasiru Alhassan - Batoolim na bonyoo wey (the Ogbodjo Tem-Kotokoli Chief) and Vice Chair of the Association/President of AKTEG, Al-haaj Mochktar Zamba-Zamba.
