In line with President Akufo-Addo's call on the public to wear face masks, Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Lydia Seyram Alhassan has recruited tailors to produce free face masks for her constituents.
Already, the MP has distributed 20,000 free face masks to help curb the spread of coronavirus through her ‘I Care, Stay Safe’ campaign.
The tailors are expected to make some 50,000 more of the face masks for further distribution.
The face masks will be made in accordance with the specifications outlined by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
The designers have also been provided with the prescribed FDA materials, for the production.
Lydia Seyram Alhassan has reiterated her confidence in the local human resource potential, her constituents and the nation at large as the battle against Covid-19 continues.
