Top journalists across Africa have joined forces to launch The Continent, an Africa-focused e-magazine to report on Covid-19 developments on the continent, but also on topical issues across Africa.
The Continent is designed to be read on smartphones, and shared on social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook.
The weekly publication brings together the best reporting from all across the African continent.
The project is supported by South Africa-based Mail & Guardian newspaper.
The first issue of the e-magazine – produced in full in pdf below -- is themed ‘Life inside the lockdown’ and presents enlightening and in-depth reports on the Covid-19 situation in Cameroon, DRC, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Zimbabwe among others.
