Rapper Trigmatic is demanding an apology from Afia Schwarzenegger, for allegedly making a defamatory statement against him.
The rapper’s lawyers in a letter served the actress, said she had claimed he had an affair with beauty queen, Sally Akua Amoakowaa who is also wife of popular businessman, Dr Kweku Oteng.
It also said she had further alleged that Trigmatic is the father of Akua’s one-year-old daughter with Dr Oteng.
“We have the instructions of our client to unequivocally deny the contents of your statements and further state that our client has never had any form of inappropriate relationship with the said lady either before she got married or during the said marriage.
“Our client is a married man with a child who believes in upholding the virtues of the institution of marriage,” the letter said.
According to Trigmatic's lawyers, Afia Schwarzenegger’s statement “carrying such obnoxious meaning,” has damaged the image of Trigmatic not only in Ghana but other countries he is well known in.
Afia Schwarzenegger, by the letter, is expected to retract her statement from all her social media handles.
She is also expected to apologise to Trigmatic within 72 hours of receiving the letter or face a defamation suit.
“It's rather unfortunate that in these difficult times, one would seek to defame and cause further distress to ones family, friends and hard-earned reputation,” My Life hitmaker wrote on his Instagram page.
