Jay Kay Industries and Investments Limited has presented a cheque for GH¢100,000 to the Covid-19 Trust Fund set up by the government, to aid the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.
In addition, 100 Veronica buckets valued at GH¢50,000 procured locally, were donated to strengthen government’s ongoing social activities to help stop the pandemic from spreading.
At a brief presentation ceremony at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, April 14, management of the Jay Kay Group expressed solidarity with Ghanaians and pledged support in the fight.
The delegation comprised of the Director, Pawan Aidasani and Chief Financial Officer, Biju Prabhaakaran.
The delegation also commended the government for the drastic and decisive measures taken to curb the spread of the new coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the company has made other donations directly to the public.
These include GH¢9,000 donation to feed the vulnerable in Avenor in and its neighboring localities in Greater Accra, GH¢10,000 to the CEO of Network Ghana as well as GH¢5,000 to Indian Association Ghana.
