Black Stars head coach Charles Akonnor will be paid $25,000 as monthly salary.
This was disclosed by Kofi Asare Brako, the spokesperson and personal assistant to the Sports Minister, Isaac Asiamah.
The former Sports Journalist made the revelation last Saturday on Adom TV's sports program 'Agro Ne Fom'.
He also revealed that Akonnor has signed a two years contract despite being appointed early this year.
Akonnor was appointed in January but was not given a contract engaging his services to lead the Black Stars. Joy Sports reported last month that Akonnor had gone two months without salary.
However, after months of deliberation, Akonnor, Ghana Football and Association (GFA) and the Sports Ministry have reached an agreement.
The $25,000 is less than what Kwesi Appiah was receiving. The government paid Appiah $35,000 a month.
In addition to the $25,000 monthly allowance, Akonnor has been given a car and a house. The car and house are the same used by Kwesi Appiah.
Akonnor replaced Kwesi Appiah who had been in charge for two and a half years.
