It seems like Ghana’s Hip-life “Grandpapa”, Reggie Rockstone has made lemonade out of the lemons the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown at him.
Admitting that life has not been easy in these days of people have to stay home to stop the spread of the coronavirus, he stated in an online interview with JoyNews' that it has brought his family closer.
He explained that the advice to self-isolate to avoid the spread of the virus has been beneficial.
“I don’t just make music by myself, I do it with a team and because of the COVID-19, I will have to go into my studio and lay my vocals. Then, send it to my engineer who will mix it up and bring it to me.
He further disclosed that "this might be an easier cut for the musicians. Right now we have the attention because we are quarantined and we could do concerts and shows online. The show must go on, if ever there is a time to entertain people, it is now.”
He also commended Shatta Wale, Edem and other artists who are organising online concerts and said it is essential for fans all over the world to be entertained amid the pandemic.
The veteran hiplife musician, however, announced plans to release new music in the future while entreating the public to keep washing their hands to contain the spread of novel coronavirus.
