Ashesi University has suspended lectures indefinitely as six cases of the deadly coronavirus are confirmed in the country.
The institution indicated on its twitter handle on Sunday, that the action is a precautionary safety measure against the COVID-19.
“As a next step following increased urgency around precautionary COVIID-19 safety measures, we are pausing all classes until further notice. Students who can go home can do so from tomorrow,” the tweet read.

The school further advised its students and public to observe the basic protective measures disseminated by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Ghana Health Service (GHS).
This comes after an announcement Sunday that four new coronavirus cases in Ghana, making the total number of recorded cases in the country to six.
