Rapper Sarkodie is taking steps to avoid contracting the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The artiste in his Instagram stories was seen wearing a nose mask and a pair of gloves.
He joins a number of celebrities including Steve Harvey and wife Marjorie, Selena Gomez, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and others who have resorted to using these protective gadgets alongside following health directives to avoid catching the virus.
Sarkodie, who is set to go on his Black Love tour scheduled in about nine countries, feels it is apt he protects himself than contracting the COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation (WHO) on March 11, declared the Coronavirus as a pandemic.
Their announcement came after more than 118,000 cases were recorded in 114 countries. So far about 4,291 deaths have also been recorded.
President Akufo-Addo in his speech on Wednesday cautioned Ghanaians on continuing with some of their friendly traditions including handshaking and hugs.
He disclosed that $100 million has also been set aside to help protect the country against the coronavirus.
