Accra Brewery, a subsidiary of SABMiller has a new Managing Director, in the person of Gregory Metcalf with effect from the first of this month.
Mr. Metecalf replaces Grant Liversage who moves to manage SABMiller’s operations in Mozambique.
The new Accra Brewery boss has spent his last 10 years as Managing Director in several manufacturing organizations before joining SABMiller last year as Commercial Director for its Nile Breweries in Uganda.
Mr. Metcalf according to ABL has experience in product innovation, marketing and distribution management.
He will also lead the team at Voltic Ghana.
Voltic which is a market leader in bottled water production in Ghana is now a subsidiary of SABMiller after the brewer acquired majority stake in the water producing company.
