Ghana midfield revelation at the ongoing AFCON , Afriyie Acquah has signed for Italian side A side Sampdoria on Monday.
The 22-year-old penned the deal in Malabo where the Black Stars are preparing for Thursday’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against hosts Equatorial Guinea.
Acquah, owned by German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenhiem, has been on a season-long loan at Parma.
The 22-year-old has had a decent campaign at the Nations Cup after starting in Ghana’s last three matches to reach the semi-final.
He has been very formidable in the middle and played a huge role in the revival of the Black Stars after an opening day defeat to Senegal.
Acquah made 12 Serie A appearances before the winter break.
