Hearts of Oak head coach Kosta Papic has slammed critics who have questioned his team selection for Glo Premier League matches.
The Serbian trainer's decision to keep newly signed players Mahadi Abubakar, Stanley Afedzie and Sammy Adjei on the bench has made him unpopular among the Hearts faithful .
Hearts laboured to dispatch Tema Youth 2-1 on Sunday at the Ohene Djan Stadium and ended their three-match winless run.
Papic believes the newly signed players including former international Hamza Mohammed have put in very little to earn starting roles.
"I don't have any kind of pressure from anybody. I will be very happy if I had the kind of pressure from them and the performance from them to give me the pleasure to put in the team," Papic told Ghanasoccernet.com
"For now they are not ready yet. Most of them who came are not ready yet to challenge the people who are before them.
"Why do you think I put the better player down and play with the other one? Why, am not a stupid man. Do I look look like am stupid?"
