Hoffenheim have beaten a host of clubs to the signature of Ghanaian international Prince Tagoe.
Premier League sides Fulham and Middlesbrough, together with Valencia, Villarreal and Rennes were all keen to land the 22-year-old.
But Tagoe - currently based in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittifaq - opted to join Hoffenheim on a two-year contract.
Tagoe will link-up with fellow countryman Ibrahim Ayew at the Rhein Neckar Arena.
"I am delighted to join a young club, this club is giving an opportunity to youngsters to express themselves and I am happy to be part of it," he told skysports.com.
