An Accra Circuit Court Friday ordered that a Toyota Sequoia saloon car seized from herbalist, Nana Azumbi should be returned to him.
Nana Azumbi and four others have been charged with defrauding a number of people of various sums after they allegedly failed to double monies they allegedly took from their victims after several assurances.
Police had assumed that Nana Azumbi procured the car with part of monies he allegedly took from his victims, however police investigations proved the car rather belonged to a third person, one Ibrahim Tawiah Mantey.
The court presided over by his Lordship, Mr. Dakitse granted Nana Azumbi and the four others bail in the sum of GH¢20,000 each with two sureties to be justified. They are also to report to the police twice a week and are to re-appear in court on May 28, 2009.
