Coach Avram Grant has named a 31-man provisional squad for the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea next month.
Debut call-ups have been handed to five Ghanaian players based in Europe with former U-20 midfielder Frank Acheampong returning to the side.
Defender Samuel Inkoom who plays in the MLS with Houston Dynamos has also returned to the squad that will begin preparations for the tournament.
