The long anticipated bout between Emmanuel Tagoe known as ‘Gameboy’ and Tanzanian Sidicki Momba for the WBA international championship promises to be a Christmas cliffhanger following the massive interest it has generated among celebrities who have promised to be there in their numbers.
The bout slated on Boxing Day, December 26 will see most of the 2014 Ghana Movie Awards nominees being part of the event. The likes Nadia Buari, Jackie Appiah, Nana Ama Macbrown, Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Majid and Van Vicker et al. have all confirmed to be present.
Apart from the actors and actresses, the event will also attract musicians, business tycoons, members of the Ghana FA and some key Black Stars players.
Organizers of the bout, Baby Jet promotions will host two VVIP cocktails for the invited guests, players of the Black Stars, the Ghana Movie Awards nominees, Ghana Boxing Authority and the entire Tanzanian delegation before and after the bout.
The media will also be hosted to a special soiree for the continuous support of the Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan and Baby jet Promotions.
Tickets for the event are going for GHC10 for regular, GHC 50 for VIP and GHC 100 for VVIP.Meanwhile, the organizers say the media soiree is strictly by invitation and starts from 7pm prompt.
